#597 - Faraday Swim and Potluck !

Hey lovelies :)

I just remembered that I have a few draft posts that I did not post, such as this one. Living in such a fast paced world has led me to forget my blog from time to time. It's not a good feeling to forget, but it sure is good to remember. Agreed ?

Well, enough of that. During the holidays, my classmates decided to have a class party. GO 6 FARADAY ! :D We decided to go swimming at Cheng's place and have potluck at the same time. The weather was great and so was the food. Although once again, I forgot to charge my camera battery and it died flat before I could even snap more decent pictures. The pictures towards the end were taken with iPhone.

Reached around 6pm and was greeted by the stunning sunset ! :)

Pee-ka-boo !

Playground first ! Remember the times where you could actually run around the playground without a care in the world ? Now I'm scared that I'm too heavy or too big. HAHAHAH. They should make adult sized playgrounds so we can still have fun. WHEEEEE. Soon after, we finally decided to enter the pool !

I thought that the pool was really small, but I'm glad that it wasn't so deep. SUPER GLAD that even at 150cm I don't have to jump or spend energy trying to stay afloat in the pool HAHAHAHHA. Short people problems. Not being able to stand at the deep end of the pool. Does anyone feel me ? Heheh.

After swimming we also had a short session regarding first impressions and current impressions. ( Thanks to question bank Yee Hsuen :D ) Everyone had to state their first impressions (if they remember) and their current impressions of everyone there at that moment. It's nice to know what your classmates think of you, positive or not. Better than having gossip behind your back.

Good food and good company makes it a great night :) Group picture ! Although some of them already left. Should have taken it before the earliest person left. Hahah.

Ahhhh well. I suddenly feel like swimming again. Anyone ? :D

#596 - When Gadgets Meet Fashion

Hey lovelies :)

School holidays are coming to an end and I haven't started to do my homework. (and I'm sure some of you have not bothered either heheh). I've probably occupied myself with my phone, laptop and camera all day long if I didn't go anywhere during the past week. But going out all the time with my phone and camera makes me think from time to time on how to match them with my outfits.

So today I'm gonna share this infographic with you :)

I'm really liking the combinations they put together :) Though I personally like the 2nd one. In fact, I think every girl should have at least one in their closets. It's perfect for any occasion, not too formal and not too casual. And almost any gadget looks good with it. It's hard to go wrong with a little black dress :))

#595 - Teacher's Day Fashion Show

Hi lovelies :)

Teacher's Day was last month but I'm only blogging about it now hahaha. My efficiency level is slowly decreasing isn't it ? Anyways, this would probably be first time doing a fashion show in 19 years of my life HAHAHAH. I wasn't involved at first, until Pn Joyce came and ask me to join it during STPM examinations. I said yes and dragged Yee Hsuen along ! :D

Meet Pn Shahrizad's iguana ! :) I've always thought lizards were kinda cute, but iguanas are cuter ! Makes me feel like getting a pet iguana HAHAHA but it's okay. Cuddles is enough. And she's warm. Heheh.

But of course before leaving, take picture with the iguana ! :D Shoooo beautiful (*.*)

*cough cough* Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder HEHEHEH.

Okay. Enough about iguanas. The fashion show was the last item on the agenda, so we had ample time for preparation and pictures. Sadly, I did not charge my camera battery and it didn't last until the end of the catwalk :( But at least I had backstage pictures to share hahah !!

My hair ! :) Done by Yee Hsuen with 21 hair pins HAHAHA. Yeahh I counted. Thanks so much Hsuen ! :D

With my pig ! :) Coincidently wore red heheh. Nope, it wasn't on purpose. I brought 5 dresses to school and asked Pn Joyce to help me choose one, and here I am ! :D HAHAHAHA.

#594 - Szeto's Birthday !!

Hi lovelies ! :)

Now that it's the holidays it seems that I have more free time to blog instead of just uploading pictures to Facebook or Instagram and leaving them to say things that I couldn't put into words due to the lack of time. But now that I've more time on my hands, I might as well start writing.

On the 26th May, Szeto's classmates planned a surprise birthday plan for him ! I tagged along as always because Jason is there (heheheh) They were planned a swimming and potluck session that night ! :) It's been so long since I last swam ! Thank goodness the rain cleared up after the heavy downpour in the afternoon.

Yeah ! I finally wore my hat out HAHAHAH. It's been collecting dust in mycupboard. And even though I wore it for awhile, it feels nice. I like caps, but I don't wear them out often. Especially this hat. I lost count of the number of people who got stabbed by the studs on my cap (sorry!)

And with Totodile the birthday boy ! :D I think I started calling him Totodile because of his twitter username, "toto". It just reminded me of Totodile. POKEMON !! :D

We placed all the food at Piri's house and started swimming ! However, not everyone entered the pool though. Thanks to the ball we played a few games hehehe.

I think we got out of the pool about 8 ? I can't remember already AHAHAHA. I only remember that we were making too much noise. It's hard to keep quiet when you're having fun. You know that feeling dontchu ? :D After swimming we went to get the food and fill our empty tummies ! :) And that's when the surprise candle came out !! Yupp. Candle.

More food and lots of pictures taken after that ! :) But I'll upload the rest of the pictures to Facebook. Don't want to flood the blogpost with them Heheheh.

And sometimes I wonder how forgetful I am. I remembered that I left my towel but I forgot my shoes HAHAHAH. Thanks for keeping them Szeto ! And I hope you enjoyed your time that day :) Finally same age as me ehehehe.

#593 - Dreams and Aspirations

Hello lovelies ! :)

It's been a long time since my last update. May 12 huh ? HAHAHAH. I'm so sorry ! It seems that I've been unable to update my blog regularly, but still, I'll update from time to time. I apologize to my dear readers!!

Last Sunday, I attended a ballet showcase for the first time in my life ! I made a promise to Yee Hsuen that I would go, and of course, I kept that promise. And thank you for making Jason promise to come along hahahah !!

With Yue Li who came to support Kim, and with Marion and Jason to support Yee Hsuen ! :D

I waited the whole time to see Yee Hsuen perform ! Woohoo ! While waiting, Marion and I kept looking at Jason because we were half expecting him to fall asleep. Thumbs up for not falling asleep HAHAHAH

And well, pictures of some of the other performers ! :) Really graceful. Some of them reminded me of the Barbie movie Odette ! HAHAHAH. In a good way, I mean. I've never seen actual ballet performances anyway. That was 2 hours well spent. Good luck to all of them for their competition :) The showcase was absolutely spectacular :))
